Masters of Commerce (M.Com)Relevance of M.Com: M.Com. serves as a foundation for further advanced studies and research such as Ph.D. and M.Phil. degree in Commerce. Along with Master Degree in Commerce, a student may appear for the UGC-NET or JRF examination in the final year, thereafter the candidate may go for Lecturership or in research area.
Along with the Master Degree in Commerce, a student may apply for the UGC-N.E.T. or JRF exam in the final year and thereafter they may go for further advanced studies and career in different specializations like Statistics, Taxation, Accounting and Finance, Banking and Insurance etc. Eligibility Criteria for M.Com.: The candidate must hold the degree of graduation in commerce (B.Com.) or Business Administration (B.B.A.) with minimum 45% marks in aggregate. Admission will be done on merit basis and personal Interview. Duration: Duration of the programme is 2 Years. Course Content:

Note: Each paper will be of maximum marks of 100. Viva-Voce examination (100 marks) will be held in M.Com final year. Candidate is required to take 5 papers (100 marks) in first year and 5 papers in second year including viva. |
